Police are appealing for help in tracing the whereabouts of fireworks which were stolen from a garage.
The high-explosive fireworks were stolen from the garage at a house in Wetherby Road, Harrogate, and include six rockets in the shape of champagne bottles and one that is two foot square and in a cardboard box. They were intended for use at a Golden Wedding Anniversary party.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "There are concerns as to the dangers and injuries that these fireworks could cause if handled carelessly, especially by children."
Anyone who can help police with their inquiries should ring 01423 505541.
