An internet sex business run from a sleepy Ryedale village is to feature in a documentary on Yorkshire TV.
Youtopia, run by Paula Adamson and Adrian Goldy, is to be the focus of one of four different stories in a series called 'Sex Over 40'.
Last year it was revealed how the couple, who are both 51, were running the business from a bungalow in Weaverthorpe, near Malton, supplying sex toys to customers whom they say include doctors and vicars.
The company has been running for several years and has a turnover of tens of thousands of pounds.
"We were approached and asked if we would like to appear in a documentary about our business - it'll be good publicity so we agreed," said Paula.
"The documentary makers wanted to know all about what we sell and the sorts of customers we have.
"We sell pretty much everything from sexy lingerie to various sex potions. In the last four years though we have expanded our range of bondage and fetish gear.
"The programme makers wanted me to demonstrate some of the sex toys we sell - older customers prefer fetish gear and the most popular item is handcuffs.
"We get a lot from Scotland and Wales and customers range in age from 18 to pensioners.
"We supply people all over the world and because we run an internet business, orders come in from all over the place."
Despite its steamy reputation most villagers in Weaverthorpe seem to have accepted the couple's business.
Paula said: "One of our delivery men once stopped in the village and asked for directions and this very elderly gentleman said, "Oh you want that sex shop up t'road!".
"For years I was involved in organising Ann Summers parties but one day I just decided I would do it myself.
"I run the business on a full-time basis with Adrian, who is my partner. We've never looked back.
Other subjects which will feature in the documentary series include a stripper and a lap-dancing club.
Paula and Adrian's documentary will be broadcast on Monday June 25 at 10.30pm.
