Yorkshire lost their friendly game with Derbyshire at Derby yesterday by 27 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis system for calculating rain affected matches.
Five Yorkshire bowlers each claimed a wicket as Derbyshire reached 212 for six with captain Dominic Cork knocking up an unbeaten 73 and Australian Michael Di Venuto hitting 43 before being run out.
Wintry showers caused several interruptions to Yorkshire's reply and they stood on 144 for seven at the close, skipper David Byas top-scoring with 43 and Anthony McGrath making 27.
The sides were meeting today in another friendly at the same venue.
