New Earswick All Blacks are staring re-election to the National Conference League in the face after suffering defeat to division two bottom club Dewsbury Moor.
The 36-20 scoreline saw All Blacks replace Moor at the foot of table with just two games left to play.
All Blacks made a bright start in the first quarter-hour but were unable to breach the line, after which Moor stormed into an unassailable lead.
A high ball was spilled by All Blacks on 18 minutes and the winger went over.
Moor then scored twice in 30 seconds just before half-time, poor defence allowing the scrum-half go over under the posts and the winger go in in the corner, one try being converted.
On 52 minutes it was 20-0 as more poor defence allowed Moor through and five minutes later it was 26-0.
All Blacks began a comeback after the hour-mark, prop Jamie Daniels's burst leading to Simon Mallarkey to pounce on a loose ball to score under the posts, Carl Pallister converting.
Four minutes later player-coach Mick McTigue scored a converted try to make it 26-12 but Dewsbury then hit back to score a converted try out wide.
All Blacks never gave up and, with second row Nigel Wilson and prop Paul Booth excellent, scored further tries through winger Andy Fletcher and centre John Leach to make it 32-20. However, it was too little too late.
