Total Gutter Maintenance Ltd, (TGM) the Northallerton fIrm which maintains and drains gutters for a wide range of businesses throughout the UK is expanding.
With the help of Marcus Hill, a personal business adviser with Business Link North Yorkshire, the 22-staff operation which already has a Midlands area office in Leamington Spa, now plans to add a further four regional teams to its existing seven this year. On Mr Hill's advice managing director Keith Ellis has appointed a sales and marketing manager and is also being guided by Business Link North Yorkshire's Ian Rhodes to obtain the international quality management standard ISO 9002.
Mr Ellis, who started the firm with his wife, Sue, four years ago, praised the advice he received from Mr Hill which entailed evaluating the business, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and offering guidance to grow.
