SWIMMERS today returned to York's Barbican pool after a fault meant it had to be closed for part of the weekend.
Staff found the side of the pool flooded following a plumbing problem when they arrived at work at 6am on Saturday.
But it was re-opened at 10am the same day after work to clear drains.
A pool spokesman said: "We closed the main pool on Saturday morning because it was considered a safety risk, but it was re-opened a few hours afterwards and is open as normal now."
