YORK'S British Sugar Social Club raised cash for Macmillan Cancer Relief with a party in memory of the mother of a member of staff.
Sue Holmes laid on the party in memory of her mother Beryl Dobson, who died of cancer last year.
The event aimed to raise £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief, who helped Beryl, and featured a children's Easter bonnet competition, a disco, games and competitions.
Mrs Holmes said: "All my friends have been absolutely fantastic, donating their time and prizes and never asking for anything in return."
