Pocklington hit Leeper Hare York and District League premier division bottom dogs CGU for six in one of only three games played in the top flight on Saturday.
Graham Whitehead shot Pocklington in front and Mike Murr was well on target for the visitors' second goal.
Graham Whitehead bagged his second goal just before CGU were unfortunate to give away an own goal.
The home side scored a consolation goal when defender Adrian Ogden netted from a corner.
Charlie Bond and Chris Sharpe worked well to add two further goals to the visitors' tally.
CGU worked hard as a team, with Rich Hunter and striker Matt Usher both having good games.
Bishopthorpe were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Kartiers.
Graham Cannon put the visitors ahead and then Bishopthorpe counter-attacked and scored two quick goals through striker Chris Smith.
Early in the second half, the Bishops notched up their third with a cracking direct free-kick from Daz Miles.
Kartiers lifted their game for John Glavin to pull one back. End to end play followed, with Simon Winstanley snatching a late equaliser for Kartiers.
Wigginton Grasshoppers continued their winning sequence when they scored a 3-1 win at home to Rufforth.
Both teams relied on quick breaks for their best form of attack, with chances missed at both ends.
Tom Coates put Wigginton in front with a good opportunist goal, and keeping up the pressure, young Carl Young slotted home their second.
After the break, Rufforth narrowed the gap with a well taken header by Gary Keenan before the home side made sure of three points with a John Moor strike.
Gary Collins and Gary Keenan were the pick of the visitors.
