Leeper Hare York and District League Reserve Section 'A' title favourites Dringhouses romped to a 7-0 win over Haxby Town.
Alan Ellis netted four and Paul Cooper, Nick Brown and Neil Doucey weighed in with one goal each.
In the only other Reserve 'A' game played, Wigginton turned up at Nestle Rowntree with only eight players, which was increased to nine with a late arrival. The home side could field only ten players.
Despite their numerical disadvantage the Wigginton side won 4-1 with goals from Sean Smith, Neil Green and Liam Holmes (2). Alex Pearson scored for Rowntree.
Stamford Bridge slipped into the Reserve 'B' relegation zone after being thumped 9-1 by a resurgent Poppleton side, who move up two places as a result.
Dave Hanlon (4), Jim Brannigan, Chris Cook, Joe Vaughan, John Beech and Craig Suttle were the Poppleton scorers with Stamford's consolation coming from John Bryant.
Riccall moved up one place after a 3-0 win at home to Moor Lane courtesy of goals from Sean Harris, Bobby Parkes and Jamie Lumb.
Civil Service gave their promotion hopes a boost with a 3-2 win at Malton Bacon Factory.
John Hampton scored his second of the match and the winner for Civil Service five minutes from time to add to a first-half goal from Paul Hutchinson.
Top-of-the-table Wigginton Black Horse had a Neil Newton header in the last minute of the game to thank as they just managed a 2-1 win over Fulford.
Earlier, Angus Clapham had given Black Horse a first-half lead with Dave Burgess netting a 65th-minute equaliser for Fulford.
Both Boroughbridge and Haxby & Wigginton gained points in the Reserve 'C' title race.
The Haxby-based side played two games against White Horse and, in the first, just scraped a 1-0 win with a goal from Richard Hunt.
The second game was a less even affair with Haxby & Wigginton running out 6-1 winners. Carl Kidds (2), Richard Hunt, Mike Smith, Jeff Winters, and Mark Littler were their scorers with the White Horse goal coming from Howard Stein.
Goals from Fran Raper (2), Danny Metcalfe (2), Darren Shepherd, Matthew Wix and Andy Giles helped Boroughbridge to a 7-2 win against LNER Builders.
Stuart Cuthbert and Dave Thompson replied for the Builders.
Heslington's improved run of form continued with a 5-2 win at home over Stillington.
Kevin Sayce (2), Robin Cockerill (2) and Paul Clark scored their goals and Stillington replied through Richard Armitage and John Shepherd.
