YORK can expect more frequent serious floods if President Bush refuses to abide by the Kyoto agreement on pouring pollutants into the atmosphere.
I urge as many people as possible to write to President Bush to ask him to abide by the Kyoto agreement on global warming. If he bows to the pressure from the US oil companies and refuses to abide by it we will pay the price with more flooding. We cannot afford to subsidise America's profligate use of fossil fuels in this way. Write now or forever be mopping up!
