CONGRATULATIONS New Earswick Primary School on another excellent musical production. Well done to all the children who took part and learned a host of catchy songs, some with rather difficult, almost Latin-style, rhythms.
The teachers are to be commended for passing their obvious enthusiasm to the children. School music has come a long way since my day, when we did the 20-minute version of Joseph or even the less well-known Captain Noah. What we saw was really great and I have to admit to being the proud parent of a gorgeous little Dung Beetle!
