Sessions 'A' drew further away in division one of Focus Fireplaces York and District Table Tennis League with an 8-2 win over York RI 'A'.
Andrew Nicholls and Mick Wilcockson each won three for Sessions and Richard Crowther was the pick of the RI team.
Fulford Road WMC 'A' moved into third place after a 6-4 win over Poppleton 'A'. Richard Moss was too good for the Fulford team and won all three for Poppleton.
York RI 'C' team's term in division one looks to be over as they went down 9-1 to Coneysthorpe 'B'.
In division two, Bootham Conservative Club 'C' and Poppleton 'B' have 107 points each and are followed by INL 'B' on 96 with a game in hand.
Lee Matthews won all three for Bootham Conservative Club 'C' in a 5-5 draw with Nestl Rowntree 'B'. He then won all three as Bootham Conservative Club 'C' beat INL 'C' 8-2.
Poppleton 'C' stay in the bottom two despite losing to Fulford Road WMC 'B' 6-4. Mark Hughes played well for Poppleton to win all three.
Poppleton 'B's losing streak continued as they went down 6-4 to Session 'B'.
In Division Three only 12 points separate the top four teams. Northern Electric beat INL 'D' 10-0 to stay in second place. Matt Ayres and Richard Falkingham were unbeaten for Poppleton 'D' in their 8-2 win over York RI 'E'.
Terry's' little run came to an end as they went down 6-4 to Poppleton 'E', all the Poppleton team each winning two.
Leaders in division four, Fulford Road WMC 'C' beat rivals CGNU 'A' 7-3, all the Fulford team winning two each and the doubles. John McDonald replied with two for CGNU.
York Police lost a little ground when they were held to a 5-5 draw with York RI 'G'. Jim Noble won all three for the Police and Richard Leafe won two for RI.
Betty Norman and Dennis Chapman were unbeaten as York RI 'F' had a 9-1 win over York RI 'H'.
