SARA Robin commented that she followed a cyclist who had three lights, a fluorescent jacket and a helmet (February 10).
Perhaps this cyclist would like to donate at least one of his lamps to the six or so cyclists I noticed in a fairly short journey (on foot) a few days ago. Also, Sara Robin does not tell us how many cyclists she observed with either no or inadequate lights.
Every motorist, and especially bus drivers, in York are only too well aware of the irresponsible attitude of cyclists and if it was not for the care and attention of drivers, a lot more cyclists would have been at least injured.
