Dringhouses, reigning champions of York and District Leeper Hare League Reserve A, went down to their first league defeat of the season against St John's College.

Andy Stephens scored the only goal of the game for the College in the 90th minute.

Nearest rivals, Pocklington and Bishopthorpe, took full advantage.

Bishopthorpe defeated Old Malton 3-1 with goals from Darren Miles, Graham Wigley and Alex Brandon. Tom Oxtoby replied for Old Malton.

Pocklington overcame a strong Nestle Rowntree side who are battling to get out of the relegation zone.

Elliott Simpson gave Rowntrees the first-half lead but Dave O'Connor (2) and Ty Hartwig struck to put Pocklington into the lead.

Alex Pearson netted again for Rowntrees but they could not find that vital goal needed to share the points.

Osbaldwick sunk into the relegation mire after a 5-1 home defeat by Huntington Rovers.

Geordie Topping and Nick Fenton struck late in the first half to put Huntington in command.

In the first minute of the second half Danny Franklin added a third but Richard Taylor pulled one back for Osbaldwick.

Stuart Ogden and Martyn Hewitson completed the scoring for Huntington late in the game.

In the remaining game in this division, Kartiers won 4-0 at Wigginton Grasshoppers to stay in title contention.

Both the top two in Reserve B had emphatic wins.

Wigginton Black Horse had a hat-trick from Shaun Moulds to thank for their home win over Malton Bacon Factory.

Paul Baxter also netted for Black Horse in their 4-1 win, Paul Scaling scored for the Factory team.

Jim Bickerdike (2), Dave Kettlewell and Drew Kelly gave leaders South Bank a 4-0 win over Fulford on a very muddy Knavesmire.

Danny Yates gave Moor Lane a first-half lead at bottom-of-the table Easingwold but Ian Thompson salvaged a point for the home side with a last-minute equaliser.

Paul Moss (2) and Paul Hemingway gave a strong Rufforth team a 3-1 win over Poppleton with Joe Vaughan netting for Poppleton.

A Fran Raper hat-trick and one goal from Chris Metcalfe gave Boroughbridge a comfortable win at Stillington in Reserve C.

It keeps them on course for a quick return to Reserve B after last season's relegation.

In a high scoring game at Heworth, the home side overcame Wheldrake.

Liam Masterson, Tim Rye, Kevin Ingleby (2), Ian Wilkinson and Carl Turpin (2) were the Heworth scorers in their 7-3 win.

Jonathan Scutt (2) and Phil Qua replied for Wheldrake.
