Army experts were called in when a letter bomb was sent to an address in Thirsk today.
North Yorkshire Police said the bomb was sent to a business trading in the agricultural industry and was being linked to ten other similar incidents.
The bomb was made safe, and the name of the business has not been released. Police repeated their warning to anyone connected with animals or agriculture to treat all their mail with caution.
