1 - Villeneuve is the birthplace of rugby league in France, the club being the founder-member of the French Rugby League.

9 - The Leopards have won the French League and Cup seven times.
10 - They could have been making their second trip to York in this year's Challenge Cup. In the last round, they beat Halton Simms Cross, the team which knocked out Acorn in the opening round.
