Tadcaster Albion will not now lose captain Lee Maguire for any matches following the postponement of tonight's County Cup replay at Thackley.
The midfielder received a seven-day suspension starting yesterday, following his red card in a Wilkinson Sword Trophy defeat by Pickering Town last month.
But as tonight's game has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch, coupled with the early postponement of Saturday's Northern Counties East League division one clash with Yorkshire Amateur - Taddy's ground is still unfit after last year's flooding - then the ban will run out without a game being played.
Tonight's cup clash could now be rescheduled for next Tuesday. The original tie, played last week, had ended 3-3, with worsening fog preventing extra-time.
Pickering Town under-19s's Northern U19s Alliance League match with Pontefract tonight has also been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch. The game would have been rescheduled for tomorrow but there is so much standing water that it has been called off indefinitely.
