A man who has led some amazing missions in different parts of the country was in York to talk to church leaders from all over North and East Yorkshire and York itself about plans for a mission to the region next year.
Evangelist J John, who will lead the mission being organised by York One Voice, the inter-denominational group responsible for the Donald English mission in 1992, uses the Ten Commandments as the basis of his talks.
One of the features of his missions is the provision of amnesty bins at the venue so people can make reparation within a week for what is wrong in their lives.
Doug Greenfield, chairman of One Voice, said he was "very excited" about the Just 10 mission which will take place in York Minster next year on ten Thursdays from April 18 to June 20.
The public launch of the Just 10 mission will take place at York Minster on Sunday, June 24, this year, with J John as speaker.
