Pupils at Galtres School in York netted fourth place in a netball tournament held at the Barbican Centre.
The annual event was part of the PowerPlay calendar, organised by the Federation of Disability Sports Organisations (FDSO), for children and adults with learning difficulties from across Yorkshire.
The team were among ten who took part in the tournament, which was split into junior and senior categories.
It was sponsored by Yorkshire Electricity.
Chris Easton, regional resource officer at the FDSO said: "Everybody had a fantastic time at the netball tournament. The children who took part were really enthusiastic."
