Now's your chance to quiz York City chairman Douglas Craig online.

He has agreed to take part in a thisisyork question and answer session which is bound to attract the interest of Minstermen followers given the club's lowly position this season.

Evening Press Sports Editor Martin Jarred said: "There have been rumblings of discontent among fans at Bootham Crescent so this is a chance for supporters to get in touch with the man at the top. It is also an opportunity for the club to have direct contact with the fans, particularly those who live outside York and follow the club's fortunes from afar."

If you have a burning question for the chairman then e-mail them to York City reporter Dave Stanford at dave.stanford@ycp.co.uk before noon on Thursday, February 8.

He will send the questions on to Bootham Crescent and the chairman's replies will be posted on our website www.thisisyork.co.uk at 5.30pm on Monday, February 12.

Hopefully, there will be a chance for some live question and answers on the Monday night too.

It follows the highly successful session with City manager Terry Dolan on our website in November which attracted queries from City fans all over the world.

City's home game with Darlington was postponed on Saturday because of a waterlogged pitch and results elsewhere saw them sucked deeper into trouble.

Match referee Paul Robinson travelled from Hull early on Saturday to carry out a pitch inspection at 11am and had little choice to call the game off as there was standing water on some part of the Bootham Crescent pitch.

Carlisle's 2-0 home win over Kidderminster took them off the bottom and to within a point of City with a game in hand.

Exeter, who drew at Mansfield on Friday night, are bottom with 24 points from 30 games, Carlisle have 25 points from 27 games and City, without a win this year, have 26 points from 28 games.

With neither Exeter or Carlisle in midweek action, City can ease their position considerably if they win at Cheltenham tomorrow night. Victory at Whaddon Road would move them four places up the table.
