ON behalf of everyone on the children's ward, I would like to thank York & County Press and Boyes for the lovely cuddly toys that you brought to the ward as well as the cheque for £295.50. It was really nice of you to think of us again at Christmas.
The children thought the teddies were lovely. We put one in each of the children's sacks, they were all delighted with them, the rest we gave out to the children who were in over the Christmas period.
Thank you very much for the money. I have put it into the ward fund, it will be used to buy equipment for the ward. We are all very grateful to you all for your generosity and are very grateful that you do this year after year.
