YORK CITY'S Third Division home game against Darlington was postponed this morning because of a waterlogged pitch.
Match referee Paul Robinson travelled from his home in Hull to inspect the pitch at 11am and had little option but to call the game off as overnight rain had left pools of water standing on the pitch.
No new date has yet been fixed for the game to be replayed.
