POLICE were called to a York pub when a wedding party descended into a fracas.
Officers had to draw their batons as they attempted to deal with the fight, believed to be between two families, in an upstairs room at the Brewer's Arms in Tanner Row at around 11pm yesterday.
More than 30 people were involved in the disturbance, which was dealt with by more than a dozen officers with dogs.
Nine people - five men and four women - have been charged with violent disorder.
