A man has appeared in court at Harrogate accused of trying to kill another man after a stabbing incident in a pub in the town last Saturday.
Sean Patrick Finnigan, aged 40, of Newby Crescent, Harrogate, is charged with attempting to murder Peter Foster at the Black Swan in Devonshire Place.
He was sent in custody for trial at York Crown Court and will make an initial appearance there on Monday, February 5.
