ONE year down the line and faith in the Terry Dolan/Ade Shaw regime is faltering. The Conference beckons again.
At Barnet whatever team plan there was patently did not suit the players on the pitch.
We had a left-sided striker on the right of a back three; a right side central defender leading the attack; two wing backs who had little idea of the demands of the role in terms of getting forward; and a general strategy which involved lumping it forward from the back and hoping that an outnumbered two in midfield might feed off some second ball off the strikers. Little or no football on the ground.
Needless to say it failed, but worse it gave little cause for optimism for the remainder of the season. I know injuries have not been kind but plenty of new players have been brought in, some on high wages and we're still near the bottom of Division Three. Retaining Football League status is going to be very tough.
