Police are investigating a fire which damaged four cars in York early today.
Fire crews were called to the multi-storey car park at Rowntree Wharf at about 4.40am.
They found a fire in one car on the second floor of the secured car park had spread and set light to three others nearby.
The blaze took more than half an hour to bring under control.
The fire service said today the cause of the fire was "doubtful" and it was not known whether the cause was arson or an electrical fault.
York police have launched an investigation.
