LIZ Edge is the latest living proof of how food intolerance can ruin lives. For most of her 63 years, Liz has suffered with a variety of debilitating illnesses, including osteo-arthritis. Doctors could not help.
But now she feels on top of the world. A blood test showed she was severely intolerant to certain foods. Since changing her diet, she has been able to live a normal life again. Her experience mirrors that of clients of York Nutritional Laboratory. It is taking part in rigorous clinical trials into this new area of health care.
If these tests confirm the effectiveness of treatments for food intolerance, thousands could soon enjoy better lives.
