City of York Ladies II gained a good Yorkshire League division two point in a 1-1 draw at Wakefield II, Sue Draper scoring York's second-half equaliser.

In division seven, York III also came back from a goal down to win 2-1 at Leeds II. Katy Graver equalised after half-time from a Sam Clowes cross before Erica Papaglimis scored a well-taken winner after a one-to-one tussle with the home 'keeper.

Company rivalry was at it's best as Nestle Rowntree and York Olympics, the Norwich Union-based team, fought out a 1-1 draw.

Nestl led the way with a goal by Jane Markland mid-way in the second half, but Olympics' Sam Hampshire netted the equaliser in the dying minutes.

Defender Kate Kelly was Nestl's player of the match.

Tadcaster Ladies took their chances to win 3-1 at Harrogate in a hard-fought encounter.

Rebecca Cattle converted Sarah Peddar's pass with a first time strike and Nicola Willis increased the lead after a well-rehearsed short corner routine.

Karey Hooley made it 3-0 after the interval before Harrogate pulled a goal back from a disputed short corner.

Harrogate's first team beat Ben Rydding II 2-1 in the Yorkshire premier division.

City of York Ladies friendly against Colne Valley fell victim to the weather and all matches involving Acomb Ladies' teams were postponed.
