FOODS made by firms in North Yorkshire are now on the shelves of Somerfield stores, thanks to a "meet the buyer" event organised by The Yorkshire Pantry, the regional food and drink association.
Somerfield has agreed to retail The York Brewery Company's York Minster and Yorkshire Terrier bottled beers and Yorvale Ice Cream of York is supplying several of its lines, including chocolate chip, double choc chip, Jamaican rum and raisin, raspberry jubilee, caramel honeycomb and vanilla.
