North Yorkshire campaigners against America's nuclear defence plans are preparing to step up their fight.
CND campaigners will be protesting at RAF Fylingdales in the North York Moors on Monday April 16, followed by a protest at Menwith Hill, America's "Star Wars" missile defence base, near Harrogate, on May 5.
The protests follow hot on the heels of two protests last Saturday, when CND campaigners gathered outside the American embassy in London, and at Menwith Hill, to make their point on the day of George W Bush's inauguration as US President.
