NORTH Yorkshire golf ace Simon Dyson dropped a shot in the battle for honours in the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg.
The 22-year-old Malton and Norton GC star bogeyed the par-five fifth hole to go back to eight-under, after eight holes of today's third round. Earlier Dyson had followed his opening round 69 with a blistering 66 for a nine-under two-round total, then three shots adrift of leader Dean Robertson. Ex-Ryder Cup star Peter Baker set the third round pace with a 67 taking him to ten-under.
One-time Heworth GC professional Neil Cheetham dipped from seven-under (70 and 67) to four-under after 12 holes of today's third round.
