YORK Cats Protection would like to thank all those who supported us in any way during the past year. Without your support we would not be able to continue to help as many desperate cats and kittens.
Last year proved to be momentous year for our branch with the acquisition of a new larger shop at 13 Walmgate, York, and premises in Huntington which are being developed to provide York with a permanent Cats Protection shelter and which will be opened during 2001.
We would also like to thank the Evening Press for their continued and valued support of our charity during 2000 and the photographers for their patience and brilliant photographs.

...ON behalf of the Salvation Army, may I thank the people of York who responded to the Pass The Parcel appeal and donated new toys to Boots the Chemist for us to distribute to needy children. Around 115 in the area received presents, making their Christmas a lot happier.
