Rowntree kept up their impressive home form in men's division one with a 9-0 home win over Shepherd's.
Craig Dobson and Phil Grant strolled through the match with three straight win for 90-20. They were well backed up by Mark Barker and Ian Turner who also took three straight wins for 92-37.
York RI scored a comfortable 9-0 home win over Drax 'A', who were a pairing short in men's division one. Paul Turner and Richard Pauw put in the best Institute display with two straight wins for 90-21.
Drax 'B' visited Knavesmire in men's division two and came away with a hard fought 5-4 win. Richard Course and Adam Prescott put in the matchwinning display for Drax with three straight wins for 90-54. This included the vital matchwinning ninth where they defeated Paul Rogers and Dominic Smith.
John Major and Alastair Jewison took two Knavesmire wins, but lost out 12 and ten to Course and Prescott.
Clifton 'B' scored a 7-2 away win over YUSC in men's division three. Ian Samuelson and Daniel Woolfson took three Clifton wins for 90-53, while the best rubber of the match saw Garry Turner and Keith Locker beat Tony Tate and Simon Christian 15-12 16-17 17-14 to take one of their two rubbers for Knavesmire.
Drax 'B' were given a tough match by Railway Institute Tuesday/Thursday 'A' before winning 5-4 at home in mixed division two.
Matt Hitchens and Susie Raine took two Institute wins in a good display but, Drax's Sue Hardy and Dave Walsh took the matchwinning point with an 11-15 15-13 15-2 over Sarah Craven and Brian Morley.
YUSC 'B' put in a good home display to beat Selby Jubilee 'B' 7-2 in mixed division five. The University's Paul Waites and Lynne top scored with three straight wins for 90-50, while Jubilee's Peter Lund and Marion Woolforth capped a hardworking display with an 11 and six over Liz Fenwick and Darren Leetham.
Fulfordgate 'B' made it two wins from three matches after an 8-1 home win over Selby Jubilee 'C' in mixed division six.
Peter Twidell and Gill Merrick topped the home averages with Peter and Anita Wilkinson who took all three after a close 11-15 15-5 15-13 over Lynn Dawson and Francis Milivosevic.
Ruth Roberts opened her account after taking two Fulfordgate wins with her partner.
