Beckett League division two side Old Malton 3rds beat first division Coxwold 3-1 in extra time in the Gordon Harrison Memorial Trophy. Substitute David Bradshaw scored twice in extra time. Mark Taylor had given Old Malton 3rds the lead in regulation time. Andy Burn equalised for Coxwold.
Thornton-le-Dale needed extra time to beat Ryedale Sports Club Reserves 3-2. Thornton led 2-1 with goals from Richard Swiers and Martin Welford, but near full time Steve Proctor equalised for RSC, whose first goal had been scored by Nick Woodhead. Two minutes into extra time Anthony Garbutt, who had come on as an 80th minute substitute for Thornton-le-Dale, bagged the winner.
