Despite a valuable victory Nestl-Rowntree were left feeling down-hearted by their latest York and District Costcutter Ladies' League conquest.
The away ranks dominated the majority of the game away to Selby, who were pinned back into their own half for all but the most fleeting moments.
Yet for all their pressure the York side could only muster the one goal as excllent Selby defence and stone-walling form from the home goalkeeper kept the scoreline down to just the one goal.
The decisive moment of the collision was scored by Nestl's player of the match, Lizzie Sedgewick.
