Britannia 'A' are streets ahead of their York Maxiprint Darts League division one rivals after an 8-1 win over Burton Stone.
Chris Thompson checked 116 for 15 darts and shot 180 in the pairs, while Tony Cooper weighed in with a good 21 darter. Mark Smith was Burton's only success.
Second-placed Slipper won a close match against Mitre, whose Sam Pearson hit a maximum and Dave Binks closed on bull.
Pete Turnbull (21) put Slipper 4-1 in front and Dave Robinson paired with Doreen Johnston to win the match.
However, good scores from John Pickering and Binks salvaged the aggregate point.
Dave Johnson (19) was best for Volunteer, who lost 5-4 to Nags Head. Paul Bartnett and Paul Roberts combined to take the match for Nags, while fine performances from Paul Brandon and Neil Hart helped secure the extra point.
High scoring helped Britannia 'B' to a 7-2 win over Clifton.
Dick Turpin had to wait until the ninth game to get on the score sheet against Escrick, whose Michael Harris included a maximum and Mark Blundell closed on 102. Best for Turpin was Gary Haigh and Mick Harris.
Tap remain top of division two. Alex Render made an exit on bull for 20 darts against Six Bells then joined Gary Armitage to secure the match before Darren Bailey and Wendy Smith combined to seal the aggregate point. Phil Good was Bell's best reply.
From 3-3 Pack went on to collect all the pairs against Huntington.
Palace's Eric Barker hit a ton finish in a comfortable 8-1 at Leeman. Bernie Smith and Stan Isaac did well for Palace, and Mark Thompson paired with Derek Smallwood to record Leeman's point.
Ebor raced to a 3-0 lead only for Bishopthorpe to bounce back to level. The Dave Loftus, Brent Conland (180) pairing won the match for Ebor.
Reindeer's Ken Green (21) inspired a narrow win over Jackdaw, whose Chris Wilson played well.
Division three leaders Crescent beat Cygnet 6-3 in which Mal Muncaster registered 19 darts.
Huntington 'B' gave Woolpack a fright but Ken Chappel and Vic Reed combined to secure the win. Good scoring from Paul Handy and Dave Cormack held the aggregate point.
In-form Gimcrack outplayed Indoor Bowls, whose only winner was Mick Snowden. Billy Wylie was again on target for Gimcrack.
Second-placed Yearsley Grove slipped against Bay Horse.
With the match at 4-4, the Brooks and Bell pairing won the match. Excellent scoring from Rich King retrieved Yearsley the aggregate point.
Geoff Kitson scored well for Howden in a 5-4 win over Winning Post. Andy Edkins and Steve Burton sealed the win and the extra point.
