York Sunday Afternoon League first division title contenders Clifton Hotel hit back from 3-0 down to snatch a draw against York Police.
Police led through goals from Dave Hopper (2) and Wagstaff but Cairns pulled a goal back before the interval and Fox reduced the arrears still further.
In the final minute Dave Newton's brilliant cross was headed in by Paul Bedingham for a dramatic equaliser.
Stuart Whalley led St John's College's 8-4 victory over Cross Keys with four goals. Other goals for the students were netted by Smith (2), Carter and Graham. Pete Mullen's hat-trick for Cross Keys was in vain.
York Nomads, 2-1 winners at Ebor Bishopthorpe, remain top. Jamie Agnew and Steve Jefferson put Nomads in control with Adam Chappell hitting Ebor's late reply.
Drax won 4-1 at Rookes United, going 3-0 ahead through Dave Hurst, Rhodes and Damian Bowers before Rich Beddows pulled a goal back. Richard Gladwell got Drax's fourth goal.
Firkin 103 edged out Drum 5-4. They took the lead with a twice taken free-kick but Amo banged in Drum's equaliser.
Firkin recaptured the lead before goals by Jon Thompson and O'Brien gave Drum the lead for the first time. Firkin netted three times in five minutes to move 5-3 ahead and took the points despite Camidge pulling a goal back for the visitors near the end.
Scorers for Firkin were Hodson, Hird, Tate and Gladwin (2).
Fossway tightened their grip on division two with a 3-1 win over Burton Stone, Dave Bellwood, Daz Lias and Lee Weir on target. Horner scored for Burton Stone.
Rawcliffe United remain second after winning 4-1 at Black Dog Camblesforth where Mike Martin (2), Tony Oxley and Nigel Stoker were on target. Mark Petch scored for Black Dog.
Haxby thrashed Bubwith Hunters - who played the opening 35 minutes with ten men -14-2. Haxby were 5-0 up by the time Hunters got up to full strength. Barnard got four goals, Tyman, Sullivan. Sterricker and Wadsworth two each, Machen and Parker one each. Beevers scored both Bubwith's goals.
Yearsley Grove suffered a miserable 8-0 defeat against Clifton Rangers in which their substitute was sent off before he even got on the pitch. Scorers were Ben Firth (5), Tom Adie (2) and Matt Varley, who scored from the spot.
Woodthorpe Warriors are four points clear at the top after winning 7-2 at Cygnet with goals from Tim Hudson (4), Haw, Furby and an own goal.
Wigginton Grasshoppers won 7-0 at Acomb Athletic with goals by Nolan (2), O'Loughlin (2), Brook, Holmes and Hargreaves.
Gary Rylance scored a hat-trick for Haxby United Reserves but his team lost 6-4 to Rose and Crown.
In the Garry Penrose Trophy third round, Old Grey Mare beat Central Science Laboratory on penalties after the score was 3-3 at the end of extra time. Goalkeeper John Gilham made two saves as Mare won the shoot-out 4-2.
The next league meeting is on Monday (8pm) at the Civil Service Sports Club, Boroughbridge Road.
