York City will be keeping keen tabs on Sheffield United from where they could net a six-figure cash boost.
The Blades' highly-rated England Under-21 international Curtis Woodhouse, who started out as a junior at Bootham Crescent, has been transfer-listed.
City are entitled to five per cent of any transfer fee and with the 20-year-old Woodhouse rated in the £2million-plus bracket then the Minstermen could rake in a minimum of £100,000.
Premiership Sunderland and Leicester City are just two clubs reportedly interested in the Driffield-born midfielder.
