A surprise arrival by baby Robert put Christmas back a day for Jane and Dan Boddy - but they didn't mind.
Not due until January 19, Robert Nathan Boddy, weighing just over seven pounds, arrived at 10.17am on Christmas Day instead.
The happy parents, from Low Catton, had opened a few presents with two-year-old daughter Emily before their trip to the hospital but "were delighted".
Back at home for Boxing Day, the family gathered to celebrate Christmas a day late.
"It is wonderful," said Dan.
"It is a lovely surprise although Christmas Day somewhat passed by us. It was a relatively quick labour and has made it a great Christmas for us."
