CONGRATULATIONS to the boys and girls of the Royal Mail who work on their bikes in all weathers.
What an excellent example they are setting to the young people, fit but lazy, who never consider any transport other than their cars.
In the ten minutes to 9am, I have counted 150 cars going to York and just two cyclists: 30 cars and eight Royal Mail cyclists have gone up to Haxby. Who can emulate the environmentally friendly attitude of the Royal Mail?
I cycled to work for 35 years, along with many others. Why can so few see the benefit of cycling now?
