Selby College students from the past and present were honoured at an awards ceremony at Selby Abbey attended by more than 400 guests.
Seventy former students collected accolades for excellence in subjects such as physics, French and biology.
More than 40 current students were also presented with a Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma.
Executive director of York and North Yorkshire's learning and skills council, David Harbourne, gave out the awards.
He said: "Selby College can be rightfully proud of its achievements over the last year. Each and every one should feel proud of the effort they have put in and the results they have achieved."
The main award winners were: Lee Armstrong - best student on A-level physics course; Shelley Calvert - effort and achievement on A-level French course; Natalie Collier - best student on A-level biology course; Peter Vickers - Higher National Certificate in business; Jacqueline Summers - Higher National Certificate in computing.
