A dazzling display of Christmas lights have illuminated the lives of residents in North Moor, Huntington, York.
Caring dad Leslie Hunter covered his house in festive lights to make it an extra special Christmas for his four grandchildren and 91-year-old mother, Ann, who lives in a next-door bungalow.
Mrs Hunter said: "They brighten everything up and the kiddies love them. Friends have come from Tadcaster and Thirsk just to have a look at them."
The Hunters are the latest people to enter the Evening Press Christmas Crackers competition to find the region's most impressive display of Christmas lights on a house.
Anyone wishing to enter should send a good quality photograph of their house to Martin Oates at the Evening Press, 76-86 Walmgate, York YO1 9YN, or ring him on 01904 653051, and a photographer will endeavour to come out and take a snap of the house.
The winner will receive a framed photograph of their house in all its Christmas glory.
The closing date is January 8.
