Traditional pantomime entertainment with a twist was laid on for senior citizens in York.
Sixth-formers from Huntington School perform a panto every Christmas.
But this year's production of Peter Pan saw the students adding a new character to the story with the introduction of a "camodile".
Teacher Fiona Long said: "Working on the premise that a good camel costume should never be wasted, the resourceful script writers of the school's millennial pantomime set about adapting J M Barrie's traditional reptilian creature to fit the costume, so Captain Hook's pet appeared with the head of a crocodile but the body of a camel."
The panto has been performed for OAPs at Yearsley Bridge Day Centre, who received a dinner laid on by Year Ten food technology students.
