Railway chiefs are celebrating after picking up an award for their efforts to add a touch of authenticity for day-trippers.
Volunteers recently transformed an old goods shed at Goathland, on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Line (NYMR), into a period cafe.
The project saw every attention paid to detail, including seats being styled as open trucks.
The Ian Allen Associates Award for railway heritage - displayed here by David Fenny of NYMR - was presented this week in a ceremony at Pickering station.
