Catterick race meeting today became the latest victim of the wet weather.
The stewards found the course to be waterlogged at a 7.45am inspection.
John Gundill, spokesman for the track, said: "We had half an inch of rain overnight and we've had some more since.
"As far as prospects are concerned showers are forecast today. It all depends how much rain we get."
Today's other jumps fixture at Bangor was called off on Monday, also because of a waterlogged course.
Tomorrow's meetings at Towcester and Exeter were called off yesterday.
Warwick's meeting on Saturday will be subject to an inspection at 12.30pm tomorrow.
If Catterick's card tomorrow survives, I fancy recent course and distance winner Queens Brigade to oblige in the two-miles Catterick Club 2001 "Join Up Now" Handicap Chase.
A horse who had previously won only at Hexham, Queens Brigade was in good heart here a fortnight ago when beating Mill Orchid by a length and a half.
The eight-year-old, who would have won even more convincingly that day had he not clouted the final fence, looks capable of following-up in similar company tomorrow. Brian Storey again has the mount.
Royal Expression has strong claims in the Christmas Time Handicap Hurdle.
Trained at Middleham by George Moore, Royal Expression, successful on the Flat this year, returned to hurdling last month at Newcastle and finished an excellent second to Ledgendry Line.
That was Royal Expression's first outing over hurdles for more than three years and he would not need to improve much on that performance to take the major honours tomorrow. He is awarded the Nap vote.
Corporation Pop looks capable of winning the Ampleforth 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle.
Malcolm Jefferson skilfully brought this gelding back from an 18-month absence to gain a 15 lengths victory at Haydock recently. A useful horse, he can follow-up under Graham Lee.
Prominent, a useful pointer on the North Yorkshire circuit last season, has yet to strike form for Mick Easterby under Rules. But the six-year-old will not get many better opportunities to shine than in the St Pauls Maiden Chase, which will take little winning.
With Mary Reveley's string in such cracking form, it would be unwise to overlook the claims of Tom's River in the Charles Vickery Memorial Handicap Chase.
The gelding, gradually running into form, was a winner over this course and distance last season.
Squandamania should run a big race in the Festive Season Classified Hurdle, while the promising Westmeath Flyer, runner-up in both his starts, can make it third-time-lucky in the Garrison Intermediate National Hunt Flat Race.
Top tips: Catterick 12.20 Corporation Pop; 12.50 Prominent; 1.20 Royal Expression (Nap); 1.50 Tom's River; 2.20 Squandamania; 2.50 Queens Brigade 3.20 Westmeath Flyer
