Sessions 'A' are still the leaders of the York and District Table Tennis Association division one.
They had a 10-0 win over Poppleton 'A' to keep their unbeaten record.
Second-placed Coneysthorpe 'A' beat Bootham CC 'A' 6-4, Ian Stansfield. Garry Marshall and Dave Burnham each won two for Coneysthorpe while Paul Eastwood won two for Bootham. Brian Quinn's first three wins for over two years helped York RI 'A' overcome INL 'A' 7-3.
Dave Burnham and Mike Fenby each won three for Coneysthorpe 'A' in their 9-1 win over RI 'C'.
Poppleton 'B' are well clear in division two as second-placed INL 'B' were made to fight all the way by Nestl Rowntree 'B' in a 6-4 win. Keith Bojas and Martin Hood each won two for INL.
Making her debut in the York League was Jill Schofield, who won two. Her father is the Cheshire county player, Derek Schofield, while her mother is former Yorkshire League player Doreen, nee Ridgway.
Ed Wardman won all three for Fulford Road WMC 'B' in their 6-4 win over British Telecom 'A', while INL 'C' enjoyed their first win of the season as they beat York RI 'D' 7-3. Brian Walton won all three for RI.
Mark Hughes' winning streak continued as he helped Poppleton 'C' to their first win of the season. He won all three and was well supported by Alan Jones and Jack Kyprian.
Northern Electric are the division three leaders after Graham Perrin and Dave Quinlan each won three as they beat Shepherds 9-1.
Jim Logan won all three for Terrys but could not stop Poppleton 'D' winning 7-3.
John Foxton was unbeaten for Coneysthorpe 'C' in their 7-3 win over York RI 'E'. Northern Electric scraped home 6-4 against a two-man Bootham CC 'E' team, Matthew Neal and Steve Milner each winning two for Bootham. Horst Meyer played well to win all three for Poppleton 'E' as they overcame INL 'D' 8-2.
Fulford Road WMC 'C' are the division four leaders after two 10-0 wins.
Against York RI 'I' they were flattered by the score as several games could easily have gone the other way. Mike Dinsdale and Dennis Chapman were unbeaten as York RI 'F' beat Sessions 'D' 9-1.
Jim Noble and Jon Bostwick won all three for Police against Shepherds 'B'. York RI 'H' gained their first win of the season toppling CGNU 'B' 8-1, Jeff Brown winning all three.
The closing date for entries in the Bagshaw Competition is Monday, December 11. These should be sent to Rick Gledhill whose address is on the entry form.
