Vicar of Old Malton, the Reverend John Manchester, has hailed his church's annual Christmas Fair as a "resounding success."
The fair, held in Malton's Milton Rooms, saw hundreds of people attend with £3,100 raised for parish funds.
A wide range of stalls and attractions were on offer, including arts and crafts, cake stalls, a treasure hunt and a Christmas tree complete with presents.
Mr Manchester said: "The day really was a resounding success. There was a steady stream of people through the doors and everyone who attended seemed to be enjoying themselves. We are very pleased indeed with the final total raised."
He added: "For me, the highlight was seeing the children winning prizes and opening their little parcels from the Christmas tree. Their faces really lit up."
Mr Manchester said that both he and everyone who helped organise the fair were "delighted and very grateful indeed" to anyone who had supported the fair or helped out in any way.
