The annual fat stock Christmas Livestock Show was held at Malton Cattle Market with a number of champion beasts taking top prizes.
Organiser James Stephenson said all of yesterday's winners were from the Ryedale area, with a limousin heifer owned by George and Nick Marwood, of Harome, chosen as overall champion.
Mr Stephenson said: "The heifer was valued at 225p per kilo and was bought by the judge, Peter Hogg.
"The champion bull was produced by Geoff Featherstone and the champion bullock was produced by Brian Lunn. The best home-bred heifer came from Mark Bulmer.
"It was an excellent show and the prizes were handed out by the chairman of Ryedale District Council, David Cussons."
