Torquay United midfielder Mark Ford has been warned to curb his goal celebrations after risking the wrath of the Football Association following his penalty strike against York City last month.
Ford climbed the fencing at the Grovesnor Road end of Bootham Crescent to celebrate with United's travelling fans during the Gulls' 3-2 defeat on November 11.
His antics escaped punishment from match referee, but the former Leeds United star has now been warned about his future behaviour.
An FA spokesman confirmed Ford, who has picked up eight yellow cards already this season, has been warned twice this season about his excessive celebrations.
The spokesman said Ford had not been charged, nor was he under any investigation, but confirmed one more incident and the Torquay skipper, who hails from Pontefract, could face an FA rap.
The FA are vowing to keep tabs on the behaviour of Hull City fans after a section of the Tigers' travelling contingent threw coins at City players during the derby match at Bootham Crescent in October.
Hull have also escaped punishment from the FA for the incident, which saw seven fans later arrested.
