St John's College missed the opportunity to go top of division one of the Leeper Hare York and District League as they lost at Malton Bacon Factory to a late, late strike.

Wayne Reed hit the only goal of the game in the 89th minute to give the factory men the points.

Antony Luck scored twice for Wigginton Black Horse in their 2-2 draw at home to Barmby Moor. He opened the scoring and later equalised after the visitors responded with goals from Rob Bailey and Justin Moyler.

Civil Service entertained Riccall and opened the scoring through Rich Wells but second-half goals from Paul Brough (2) and Mark Westmoreland gave Riccall a 3-1 win - their second victory of the season.

Thorpe United hit six without reply against South Bank. Shane Singleton led the way with a hat-trick and Gavin Clamp, Mel Joblin and Andy Moore also scored.

Hammerton's promising start to their division two campaign is faltering. After last week's defeat at Heslington they lost 4-1 at home to Stamford Bridge.

Jamie Rank scored two, Sam Browne added a penalty and Nick Rank also netted for Bridge, while Chris Wilcox managed one in reply for Hammerton.

All the goals in the Norton v Easingwold game came in the first 15 minutes. Chris Maxen scored for Norton but Tony Snowden hit a hat-trick to win it for Easingwold.

Haxby and Wigginton came back to earn a point at Heworth through a late Jamie Gibson equaliser.

Chris Dyson had given the visitors the lead but the hosts took command with strikes from Nick Flanagan, David Bonner and Shaun Innes before Dyson reduced the arrears. Gibson headed the equaliser from a corner with four minutes remaining.

Elvington Harriers beat Selby RSSC 6-1. Tom Hovington (3) and Jonathan Rogerson were the Elvington scorers with Darren Kelly replying for the Railway Club but the game was marred by a serious injury to an Elvington player.

Marton cum Grafton won their first point of the season in a 4-4 draw with LNER Builders. Anthony Airstone (2), John Watson and Neil Thompson scored for Marton with Mark Rollinson, Jim Clayton, Tudor Carrington and Steve Smith, in the 87th minute, on target for the Builders.

T&L Selby moved second with a 6-1 win at Wilberfoss for whom John Parkin scored

Rawcliffe were flattered by the 7-0 scoreline at Grasshoppers 82. Bill Allon scored the only goal of the first half and added three more after the break with other strikes coming from Paul Beddingham (2) and Dale Phillips.

Strensall's Mick Pipe hit a hat-trick in the 3-1 win at bottom club Wheldrake, for whom Mark Walker netted a consolation.
